Dinner three of us alone

Saturday was ok, i finished and faxed my paper. So it was nice to be able to enjoy the afternoon chort.

When i visited my mom in Geneva, she gave me a slow cooker that i got to use today finally. It usually takes me 5 hours to cook stew meat but today it only took 15 minutes. I was very impressed.

So i made some beef stew, some zuchinis and a plate of cheese.

I am still working on my term paper about the correlation between television and child behavior. It is due Sunday so i am in alot of stress( temporarily). O had a whole month to write the 20 pages but I just started yesterday. It is my own fault.

Tonight I made a plate with some cheeses, vegetarian kotelettes and green beans salad.

Tonight I made vegetarian pasta. The sauce had peas, zucchinis, vegetarian ground beef and sauce. On the side i also made Chicken breast that i roasted in the oven with onion, zucchini and green beans.

We came back from Geneva yesterday. I spent some time with my mom which was great and we had a great time with my family. Here are some random pics from these few days.

Today, some friends visited us in the afternoon for tea and coffee. They were our neighbors and left the village couple weeks ago. So they just stopped by and brought present for Hooman. They are Turkish but both grew up in Germany, very nice people.

Dinner was sweet potato and zucchini patties. Also we had zucchini gratin and meli melo three colors pepper. And vegetarian schnitzel.

Also i added some crazy pics of ourselves we took right after dinner ( and we drank water today only).

I am also including last night dinner. I made black bean enchiladas. It was the first time i

made it. I used corn tortillas, black bean, enchiladas sauce , cheese and spices. It came out nice.

Monday was great. Mr&Mrs Smith had all of us for a Christmas dinner. We had a great time. They live like 30 minutes drive from us but the streets were so empty that we got there in 20 minutes. Nader helped me making a spinach-artichoke dip in a loaf of bread. The kids had a visit from Santa, thanks to Joel. Maria is Swedish so we were lucky enough experiencing Swedish food. It reminded me of IKEA.

Last night I made spaghetti with soy bologneses sauce and some chicken with cafe de paris sauce. And for dessert, i made my famous creme caramel.

Last night we watched Nine Queens. It was ok, not great. Dinner was simple. I made a big salad and got some fresh ciabatta and cheeses. I also had some leftover Palak Paneer and rice that i warmed up for Nader and some sausage patties for Hoomi.I had no time to cook last night.

This week-end schedule:

- Cleaning the house and downsizing. Too much junks that we dont need in the house.

-Catching up with my philosophy of sex and sociology of gender classes

-Buying a present for myself. I have decided o get myslef something i like and wrap it up and put it under the tree. Thanks to Autumn

-Get Naders ticket. He is leaving for the States end of January for a week but still no air ticket. Me and Hooman will be alone in this house for the first time. I just hope i wont have to deal with the fuse box….

- Three netflix movies are sitting here. So I need to see them during the week-end.

So far this is the plan, also maybe make some phone calls.

We are leaving for Geneva this coming Thursday. My mom is there, so we visit her. Not sure yet whats for dinner tonight….

I haven’t really had time to write on the blog the past few days. A good news is that the Math class i had at nights is over. I had the final last night, got home at 10 and celebrated it with a glasss of red C0tes du Rhone. Here what I made Wenesday night for dinner.
